Behind the Signs
Meet the Staff & See What We Are DoingEst. 1988
“The best tool for any sign company is to have an incredible team of key individuals who are great on their own; but when combined together are extraordinary. That’s one thing I can’t deny with the team I have at Morris Signs — their personal creativity and artistic abilities allow for a much better product and continued success for all.”

Our Team

Mike Morris
Owner
“A balance between creativity, practicality, and value are the rules of thumb for Morris Signs and Design. Signs should be attractive and readable — that way our customers get more bang for their buck,” says Mike Morris, a veteran sign maker with over 25 years experience. With such an extensive background, Mike has an incredible ability to be both creative and pragmatic — most likely from his years as a Billboard Painter. “My goal in this business has always been to be professional while giving my customers a creative sign. I know from having my own company that image is very important.” Crediting his success to faith, determination, and respect for his clients, Mike believes that sometimes those client’s are afraid to try something different — he doesn’t want that to make him complacent. “That’s why we try to attend National and International sign shows annually — so that it may influence our work.”

Wesley Oliver
Sign Maker
“I like the hand-crafted aspect of sign making,” says Wesley Oliver, a twenty-year veteran of the sign industry and our resident wooden sign maker. Wesley is an expert in the slight intricacies of Sandblasted Redwood and other wooden signs. He understands that personality and appearance play a key role in today’s signage. As an artist, he believes that signs should be both aesthetically pleasing and functional. “A sign not only represents our business as the manufacturer but the client’s business as well. It should be both classic, and at times daring but always tasteful and reflect positively on all of us.”
