About Us

"The best tool for any sign company is to have an incredible team of key individuals who are great on their own; but when combined together are extraordinary. That's one thing I can't deny with the team I have at Morris Signs — their personal creativity and artistic abilities allow for a much better product and continued success for all."

Morris Signs has been in business since 1988.

"A balance between creativity, practicality, and value are the rules of thumb for Morris Signs and Design. Signs should be attractive and readable -- that way our customers get more bang for their buck," says Mike Morris, a veteran sign maker with over 25 years experience. With such an extensive background, Mike has an incredible ability to be both creative and pragmatic -- most likely from his years as a Billboard Painter. "My goal in this business has always been to be professional while giving my customers a creative sign. I know from having my own company that image is very important." Crediting his success to faith, determination, and respect for his clients, Mike believes that sometimes those client's are afraid to try something different -- he doesn't want that to make him complacent. "That's why we try to attend National and International sign shows annually -- so that it may influence our work."

"I like the hand-crafted aspect of sign making," says Wesley Oliver, an eight-year veteran of the sign industry and our resident wooden sign maker. Wesley is an expert in the slight intricacies of Sandblasted Redwood and other wooden signs. He understands that personality and appearance play a key role in today's signage. As an artist, he believes that signs should be both aesthetically pleasing and functional. "A sign not only represents our business as the manufacturer but the client's business as well. It should be both classic, and at times daring but always tasteful and reflect positively on all of us."

Chris Henfling
Jack-Of-All-Trades is an appropriate description of a production assistant. In that position, Christopher Henfling is an exemplary example because he is knowledgeable about many aspects of sign making. A team player, Chris projects humor and enthusiasm in all aspects of his life and work and promotes it in his coworkers. He believes we all have our part to play at Morris Signs. “Communication and teamwork are necessary so that everyone can do their small part to complete the job as a whole”, says Chris. Currently a business major at Columbus Sate University, Chris has a particular motto when it comes to success. “As a business, I believe Morris Signs should always go the extra mile to please the client by producing attractive and effective signs”, explains Chris. “Keeping happy clients and building lasting relationships will only benefit us in the future”.
